Barr. Ihejiagwa who is the Imo state chairman of Labour Party {LP} stated that his party has multi-dimensional strategies to fix the state and return the state back to its lost glories.
Speaking to EvergreenNewsAfrica, in an interview at the party’s office in Owerri recently , Barr. Ihejiagwa disclosed that all their strategies are within the confide of law as against thugry and intimidation.
The Labour Party Chairman said that his party will turn the state from consumption to productive state if her candidate Senator Athan Achonu is voted into office as governor come Nov. 11, 2023.
He explained that as grassroot political Party, LP does not hinge her support only from the elites, but as grass root party we have moved from one door to another in all the autonomous communities in the state to ascertain their various problems in order to address their peculiar needs.
Barr Ihejiagwa disclosed that the party’s candidate for the Nov. 11, 2023 governorship election in Imo state, Senator Athan Achonu has the knowledge of job creation because of his industrialization background adding that he has already mapped out plans for six industrial clusters with every zone in the state having two each.
At Owerri zone, he hinted that there will be Ngor Okpalla Free Trade zone with the Imo Airport made functional as the Cargo International Airport and Onitsha road cluster revived while Okigwe zone will have ceramic tiles and other related allied products clusters.
Orlu zone he said will have Gas and its related products around Egbama and Oguta respectively while the Orlu axis will have pharmaceutical clusters.
Barr. Ihejiagwa said that the party is prepared to make Imolites smile again adding “at this election, we are prepared, highly principled. We are not money political party but our agents will be well equipped.”
