TCN underscored that the case made by an internet based media source claiming that the Head of Public Issues of TCN anticipated a public power outage was erroneous and deluding.

This was uncovered in a proclamation endorsed by TCN the executives which was shared on its X record on Tuesday.

The assertion explained that no such statement was made by the Public Undertakings Head, unveiling that the nation’s power framework stayed in salvageable shape, reliably giving significant power to appropriation load focuses the country over.

The assertion said, “The Transmission Company of Nigeria thusly expresses that the distribution by Everyday Post claiming that the Head of Public Undertakings of TCN expressed that there will be a public power outage is bogus and thoroughly deceptive.

“The assertion is naughty and outlandish as TCN, through the Public Undertakings Head, didn’t offer such expression.

“We thusly note that the country’s matrix is flawless and providing mass power to dispersion load focuses cross country.

“As at while giving this articulation, the TCN Public Control Community Osogbo which controls mass power transmission cross country, is effectively functional.”
