Another Israeli soldier has been killed and 11 others injured in combat in the southern Gaza Strip, according to Israel’s army.
According to a statement from the army, the number of Israeli troops killed in Gaza since October 7 has risen to 557, with 220 killed since the ground assault began on October 27.
The total number of soldiers and commanders wounded since the start of the ground operation on October 27 has grown to 1,269, up from 1,258 announced on Thursday.
According to army records, 258 people had serious injuries, 427 suffered moderate injuries, and 584 suffered minor injuries.
The total number of soldiers and commanders wounded since the battle began on October 7 is now 2,757.
