An Abuja High Court on Friday requested that the suspended , Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele, be remanded in Kuje remedial focus until Nov 22.
Justice Hamza Muazu provided the request and dismissed until Nov. 22 when Emefiele’s bail application will be heard.
Emefiele was summoned by the Central Government on a six-count charge verging on obtainment.
The first charge, which was 20 builds up to the tune of N6.5 billion, has been decreased to six, to the tune N1.6 billion.
Emefiele is the main litigant in the new charge.
In the revised charge sheet, the National Government claimed that Emefiele unlawfully purchased 43 vehicles somewhere in the range of 2018 and 2020 worth N1.2 billion.
