Hon. Celestine Ngaobiwu, former member representing Obowu State Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly during the 2007, 2011 and 2015 has drummed support for Senator sam Daddy Anyanwu for the Imo governorship seat come November 11, 2023.
Speaking to journalists in Owerri, the Imo state capital recently, Hon Ngaobiwu urged the people of Okigwe zone to vote massively for PDP candidate as the only hope for the zone to reap the dividends of democracy.
Okigwe zone as one of the three zones in Imo State with six Local government areas namely Okigwe LGA, Onuimo LGA, Isiala-Mbano LGA, Ehime-Mbano LGA, Ihitte-Uboma LGA and Obowu LGA is alleged to have been lagging behind in infrastructural developments as against other zones of Owerri and Orlu.
According to the former honourable member, “Senator Sam Daddy Anyanwu is the only credible politician who has all it takes to remedy the dastard situation of Imo State.”
He further reiterated, “among the other contestants, he has good qualities which include competence, resilience and impeccable character and human sagacity to give Imo state the desired dividends of democracy.”
Hon Ngaobiwu, stated that the present administration of APC in Imo has relegated Imo State to Stone Age period, pointing out that all the Industries in Imo State have gone moribund.
He hinted that the Aluminum Extrusion Industry, Inyishi in Ikeduru LGA; Avutu Poultry Farm in Obowu LGA, Shoe Factory in Owerri and Cardboard Industry at Owerre-Eberi in Orlu have all gone into oblivion under the APC present administration. The Okigwe zone born politician further highlighted that under Charter of Equity which started in 1999 under Governor Achike Udenwa, Owerri zone should produce the next governor in the person of Senator Sam Daddy Anyanwu.
