Abuja Area Mama

Police in the Nigerian capital Abuja are examining the killing of a trans TikToker known as Abuja Region Mother after her body was found next to a parkway.

On TikTok, where she distinguished as female and transparently portrayed herself as a sex laborer, Abuja Area Mom styled herself as a “drag queen and sovereign of the road.”

A police representative in the city, Josephine Adeh, said in a proclamation that “a unidentified woman was seen lying still along Katampe – Mabushi freeway” on Thursday and “fundamental examinations uncovered that the individual was a man completely wearing female dress without any method for distinguishing proof on him.”

Adeh added that police were exploring the killing, which she said was a chargeable murder. CNN has reached the police for more data.

Same-sex relations are restricted in Nigeria and gay and trans individuals frequently face harrasment.

Abuja Area Mother had recently confronted assaults and badgering. In a new video via web-based entertainment, she portrayed being cut by a unidentified man.

A day prior to her body was found, she made a post on Instagram saying she was “preparing to take a brief trip and see my beau.”

Abuja Region Mom was genuine about the dangers of being a sex laborer.

“You could venture out from home around evening time to hustle and not return the following morning,” she said while including as a visitor on a YouTube digital broadcast four months prior.
